This is a great recipe for summer grillin'! Simply marinate overnight, and the next day fire up the grill and enjoy!

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the soy sauce, beer, water, and garlic. Season with salt and pepper. Place chicken in the bowl. Cover, and marinate in the refrigerator 8 hours, or overnight. Turn chicken once while marinating.
  2. Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat, and lightly oil grate.
  3. Place chicken on the prepared grill, and cook 10 to 15 minutes per side, until no longer pink and juices run clear. Discard remaining marinade.
  4. All done! Now take a photo, rate it, and share your accomplishments!

Great marinade - simple and easy with very good results. I used Sam Adam's beer - no lite beers recommended for this one. I omitted the water and salt. I also used low sodium soy sauce, minced garlic from a jar, added 2 Tbsp. of brown sugar, and 1/2 tsp. of ground ginger. I let it set in a ziploc bag overnight. It was great - I defintely want to try this one with boneless pork.

Great tasting, easy marinate for chicken. I put frozen chicken in resealable bag with beer & soy sauce & thaw in refrigerater.

MY FAVORITE CHICKEN RECIPE! I've been making this for two years now, and it's a family favorite. Yes, it was too salty the first time, but instead of adding the water, I use 1/2 cup soy sauce and 1.5 cup beer, clove of garlic, and skip the salt & pepper. No light beer!
