  1. In a large bowl, combine chicken, onion, mayonnaise, egg, flour, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Quite tasty. I made these with chicken. I added a bit of garlic powder to the mixture. These tasted like fried chicken, with less work and mess. The only thing I felt it needed was a bit of sauce so I added a drizzle of buffalo sauce and a dollop of sour cream. These would be tasty with a lot of sauces - lemon, salsa, ranch.. etc

Is the chicken supposed to be raw or cooked? I really want to try this! UPDATE: I didn't receive a response before I decided to make this. I figured it had to be be precooked chicken, but I REALLY wish that thoee who submit recipes would be more clear and provide more details. Anyway, this was really, really good. I followed the recipe exactly (with cooked chicken_, but I cooked the patties in my 12" cast iron. I recommend that for sure. Excellent recipe.
