  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Cut a slit in one side of the cherry tomatoes, and insert a sliver of garlic into each. Arrange tomatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
  3. Bake tomatoes about 20 minutes in the preheated oven, until slightly shriveled. Serve warm.

These were delicious and a great side dish for grilled steak. I cut the tomatoes in half sprinkled them with minced garlic, olive oil and kosher salt along with some basil. I baked them until ...

I thought it was a pretty good side, but my husband went wild for these. Tip: add freshly chopped basil to tomatoes after they come out of the oven.
