Directions

  1. In a blender or food processor, puree the sun-dried tomatoes and garlic until smooth. Blend in the red pepper, parsley, basil, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Spoon in the cream cheese and clams, and continue to blend until smooth. Transfer the spread to a serving bowl, and chill until ready to serve.

very good recepie. i added more sun dried tomatoes to give it more flavor. a lot of people in my party were asking for the recepie.

We substituted Fresh Folly River(SC) Oysters for the clams and added a little lemon juice and it turned out excellent! We chopped everything by hand and used a mixer instead of a blender which gave it a chunkier effect. Topped it with fresh oysters, more sundried tomatoes and parsley to give it a more festive look!
