  1. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place the cumin seeds and mustard seeds in the hot oil. Cook and stir until the seeds begin to pop. Mix in the peas and cauliflower. Season with salt. Reduce heat to low, cover, and continue cooking 15 minutes, until the vegetables are tender.

you forgot to put any masala in it.... with littlebit of garam masala and peprika poweder, it will taste like an indian gobi.. cauliflower..

my husband is Indian and this just didn't have enough "kick" for us. If you like it mild then it should be good for you.

way too much cumin. if you try this, I suggest cutting the cauliflower as small as possible. it was difficult to toss the seeds and oil to get the vegetables fully covered. I might try it agai...

Tasty. Not the usual but very good.

This was alright. Be careful though, when it says the seeds will pop, they aren't kidding! They are like little tiny molten BB's if you leave them too long!

I followed the recipe closely, but I found the finished dish bitter and almost inedible. I will not make this again.

I was using up leftovers, so I tried this with shredded cabbage in place of the peas. It was very, very good, but I will experiment with adding a little "heat" to it next time.
