  1. Mix garlic, olive oil, parsley, salt, and pepper together in a medium bowl. Toss in mushrooms, and allow to marinate for 20 minutes.
  2. Thread one piece each, bread, mushroom, and havarti onto cocktail toothpicks or small skewers. Arrange on a platter, drizzle with remaining marinade, and serve.

This was a good basic recipe and with additions/changes it was amazing! Used french bread and omitted the shrooms ( I do not like). Added balsamic vinegar and Italian seasonings. My guests loved...

I really loved this recipe. This was one of many that I made for a wedding rehersal dinner for about 50 people. Simple but delicious!

Pretty good, but I'll not use mushrooms again. They completely dried out
