  1. Preheat grill for high heat.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, taco seasoning mix, bell pepper and onion using your hands. Form into 6 patties.
  3. Lightly oil the grill grate. Cook burger patties for 5 minutes per side, or until well done. Place buns cut side down onto the grill to toast during the last minute or so. Top each burger with a slice of cheese before removing from the grill. Serve burgers on toasted buns topped with salsa and sour cream.

The peppers and onions were too crunchy in the cooked burger. I'd pop them in the micro for a minute before combining them with the meat mixture.

This was a great, easy, and quick recipe for a burger. It reminds me of a specialty burger you would find in a TGIF or Applebees. I added a tomato, and subbed American cheese for my kids. Thanks...

Very good! Added Worcestershire, garlic, salt and pepper to mix. Used Red Bell Peppers since we don't care for green. Also skipped the salsa since we don't like much heat. Made the two-year-old'...
