  1. Preheat an oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, and stir in the ground beef and onion. Cook and stir until the beef is crumbly, evenly browned, and no longer pink. Drain and discard any excess grease.
  3. Layer the coleslaw mix, rice, and ground beef in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Combine the soup and water in a medium bowl. Pour the soup over the top of the ground beef. Cover with foil.
  4. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the rice is tender.

A good casserole for my family that enjoys cabbage. I can add seasoning as my tastes desire.

Very good when you don't want to do all the hard work that making cabbage rolls takes. 4 stars because I do like the taste of cabbage rolls better.

I loved it. Used some diced tomato and tomato sauce in place of the soup. Yummy! Like cabbage rolls without the work.

Excellent recipe! I especially liked the use of the coleslaw mix, which I was kind of sceptical about.. It was a fantastic dish! Everyone wanted more - I will never make traditional cabbage roll...

Okay but very very bland even though I had more to make it spicier. Would not make again.

I have to say that my expectations were pretty low here...and I am not going to say that it is as good as my wife's Cabbage Rolls as they are killer. That said...while this needs some spice IMO,...
