  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add shrimp, and cook for about 5 minutes, until pink. Drain and set aside.
  2. Place the onion and green pepper in a large bowl. Add vegetable oil, ketchup, cider vinegar, sugar, mustard, and capers. Season with garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and hot sauce, and mix until well blended. Place shrimp into the bowl with the sauce, cover, and refrigerate until thoroughly chilled. Serve cold.

I submitted this recipe and tried to email to let them know it is supposed to be 2 T of mustard, not 2 jars. You can also use any other pepper you'd like (red, orange, yellow or green) - I pref...

This is wonderful... I added a bay leaf and the longer it marinates the better it is (its hard not to eat right away though :)

Excellent!! I was out of ketchup, so I used Heinz Chili Sauce, which worked great. Will definitely use this recipe again.
