  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish or a dish of similar size.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, lemon juice, water, egg, bread, onion and seasoning salt until well blended. Shape into 6 individual loaves - I like to make large balls. Place them in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Bake for 15 minutes in the preheated oven while you prepare the topping. In a small bowl, stir together the ketchup, brown sugar, mustard powder, allspice and cloves. Spoon the sauce over the loaves, then top each one with a slice of lemon. Return to the oven, and bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until cooked through.

This is my favorite meatloaf recipe. My mother would always make it when I was home on a college break. This was my first attempt at making it. I'm not a big clove fan, so I excluded the grou...

I decided to try this because the glaze sounded good. I made meat balls and placed them in a muffin pan so it would be more appealing to my son (whose is picky beyond belief) and them spread th...

I have used this recipe for over 30 years - just renamed it to Individual BBQ Beef Loaves. Someone who did not like meatloaf actually asked me (begged me) to make this. It is my daughter's favor...

I put it all in a loaf pan instead. But it was very tender and tasty meatloaf.

The meatloaf was good. It could have used some more spice, such as basil or oregano. Didn't like the sauce. The clove and allspice flavor was too strong for me. Bottled BBQ sauce ended up being ...

This is my new favorite meatloaf recipe. The only change I made was more onions. The topping flavor is great!Kids loved these.
