Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees F). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. Place the tilapia fillets in the bottom of the baking dish and dot with butter. Season with Old Bay seasoning and garlic salt. Top each one with a slice or two of lemon. Arrange the frozen mixed vegetables around the fish, and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  3. Cover the dish and bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, until vegetables are tender and fish flakes easily with a fork.

"I made this tonight. It was great. I used frozen tilapia and it needed about 5 more minutes. I used a frozen stir-fry veggie mix...next time I will add it with only 20 minutes left because th veggies..." See more were overdone. Instead of dotted butter, I melted butter and added lemon juice, garlic & onion powder, parsley, old bay, and pepper. I drizzled this over the fish. The last 10 minutes, I sprinkled some bread crumbs on top. It was great. Next time I'll top it was parmesan cheese. Thanks so much. This is a great recipe that you can really experiment with."
