Original recipe yields 6 servings

Directions

  1. In a large bowl sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Make a well in the center of the bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the egg yolks, milk, and oil. Pour into well of flour mixture and stir well. Stir just until ingredients are moistened.
  3. In a small bowl beat egg whites until stiff. Fold into batter.
  4. Cook batter in waffle iron.

Spray your waffle iron with cooking spray, and make sure they're lightly browned. That's what separates them from the mix. They're wonderful!"
