Original recipe yields 6 servings

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together the chocolate pudding mix and 1 1/2 cups of milk until smooth and well blended. Pour into the graham cracker crust.
  2. In a clean bowl, beat cream cheese with an electric mixer until soft, then mix in confectioners' sugar. Fold in 2 cups of the whipped topping, and spread on top of the chocolate pudding layer.
  3. Whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and 1 1/2 cups of milk until well blended. Spread over the top of the cream cheese layer. Spread the remaining whipped topping over the top. Chill for at least 30 minutes before slicing and serving.

"I made the graham cracker crust. I chose to use lighter ingredients like sugar free pudding, 1% milk, reduced fat cream cheese and "lite" whipped topping. I thought that my pie pan was a deep dish but..." See more I guess not as not all of the mixture would fit. My husband was okay with that, he ate what was left with a spoon. ;) This set up nicely and the boys really liked it. My husband did comment that next time, I'm not to lighten it up so much and maybe use a fatter milk. He said it needs a heavier milk for this pie--other than that, he had no complaints. Lesson learned."
