Directions

  1. Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over low heat. Mix in the olive oil, 1/2 the lemon juice, garlic, and garlic powder.
  2. Place the pita bread in the skillet, and top with remaining butter and lemon juice. Cook 10 minutes, turning often, until golden brown.

so good! it tastes like the pita at a restaurant. the lemon is so good, it tastes even better than you expect.

Very good. Just be careful to watch the garlic, or it can burn and be bitter. I had one pita round left, so I halved the recipe and tried it that way. I liked all the flavors together, but I didn't like how the garlic didn't all stick to the pita. I think I'll make a garlic paste next time to see if that makes me happier. Thanks for sharing!
