Directions

  1. Grease and flour a 9 x 13 inch pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C ).
  2. Toss sugar, sifted flour, salt, soda, and cinnamon together in a large bowl.
  3. Fold in oil, eggs, chopped nuts, and pie filling. Pour batter into prepared pans.
  4. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until cake tests done.

This cake was delicious! I followed the recipe exactly...leaving out the nuts...It was extremely moist. My husband had 4 pieces the first day!
