Ingredients

3 fluid ounces rum
2 fluid ounces peppermint schnapps
1/2 fluid ounce grenadine syrup
1 small candy cane

Original recipe yields 1 martini

Directions

Pour the rum, schnapps, and grenadine into a cocktail shaker over ice. Cover, and shake until the outside of the shaker has frosted. Strain into a chilled martini glass, and garnish with the candy cane to serve.

"Oooooooooh. This is good! Unexpectedly good. I didn't think I'd like this at all. I cut back on the rum to one ounce, and did the remaining liquor the same. This will be great to make around Christma..." See mores. They are intense, though. Drink them slow! I used DeKuyper peppermint blast and Captain's Tattoo Rum. "
