Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In large bowl, beat eggs; add sweetened condensed milk, apples, water, butter, cinnamon and vanilla. Stir in bread and raisins (optional), moistening completely. Turn into buttered 9-inch square baking pan.
  2. Bake 50-55 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Cool. Serve warm with ice cream if desired. Refrigerate leftovers.

This was absolutely delicious! The only thing I changed was the bread, I used raisin bread because it was the only bread I had at the time. My husband was just crazy about it. It's not too sweet...
