Original recipe yields 8 servings
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In large bowl, beat biscuit mix, 1/4 cup butter, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, sour cream, and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon at medium speed until smooth. Pour batter into a lightly greased 11x7-inch baking dish.
- In a small bowl, stir together brown sugar, chopped pecans, 1 tablespoon melted butter and remaining 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Sprinkle mixture evenly over batter.
- Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Cool cake in dish on a wire rack 10 minutes, and cut into squares to serve.

"Not gross! This turned out great in my opinion. Soft and moist and flavorful. A couple of things I did differently: I doubled the amount of topping. For an 11x17 pan the amount of topping in the r..." See moreecipe didn't come close to covering the top. I used walnuts because it's what I had on hand. Also, I think the cooking time is way too much. I checked it at 30 minutes and it was done, in fact the bottom was starting to get a little too brown so I probably could have pulled it out a few minutes sooner. Next time I make this I will start checking at 25 minutes It should be golden brown around the edges and a toothpick should come out clean in the middle. Definitely will make again!"
