Original recipe yields 1 baking sheet

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a baking sheet.
  2. In a large bowl, stir together the eggs, brown and white sugars, and vanilla. Add the oil and mix to combine. In a separate bowl, combine the flour and the oats. Gradually, stir flour mixture into egg mixture 1/2 cup at a time, stirring until completely mixed. Fold in chocolate chips. Spread the mixture evenly onto a baking sheet.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 13 minutes. Remove from oven still slightly gooey, and let cool for 3 minutes before cutting into squares. Then cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes. Store in an air-tight container.

The first time I made them I used a smaller baking sheet, and I had to bake th..." See moreem for about 30 minutes. This time I used a 15 x 10 pan, and it was better. I still had to cook them for 18 minutes, yet they are still the gooey texture you should look for. These are very easy to mix up! I would recommend not greasing the baking sheet; with this amount of oil, it's really not necessary and makes the batter much easier to spread. I add 3t of baking powder and 1t of salt to the recipe with all-purpose flour."
