  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Arrange the English muffin halves on a baking sheet. Place an equal amount of baked beans on each muffin half. Layer beans with onion, tomato, cheese, and bacon.
  3. Bake 20 minutes in the preheated oven. Set oven to broil, and continue cooking 1 to 2 minutes, until bacon is crisp. Watch constantly during broiling to make sure bacon does not burn. Serve immediately.

If I could give this more than 5 stars I would! I never thought something so simple would be so yummy. I made as is with one minor change. I used precooked bacon that way there was less grease...

Absolutely awesome!! This was SO good! The only change I made was to use my beloved regular Heinz Baked Beans (I can't stand sweet baked beans). I don't know if it was just me piling the topping...
