Original recipe yields 2 to 4 servings

Directions

  1. Combine seasoning ingredients; press into both sides of beef steaks. In large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium heat until hot. Place steaks in skillet; cook approx. 10 to 14 minutes for medium rare to medium doneness, turning once. Sprinkle with lemon juice.
  2. To serve, sprinkle cheese and olives over steaks; garnish as desired.

What a nice change from the usual grilled steak. None of the herbs were overpowering...just a hint of seasoning. I was surprised that the use of the lemon juice was not overpowering...but it wasn't. The feta cheese added the most... it was the wow! factor, what a nice blend of flavors. A very easy way to prepare steak that has flavor and keeps the meat tender. This one is going into the family cookbook. Thank You Fran.

We thought this recipe did a great job of complimenting the rib eyes flavor without overwhelming them. Seasoned steaks with kosher salt and fresh cracked pepper before grilling to bring out their flavor.
