  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Bake empty pie shell for 10 minutes.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned, stirring occasionally to crumble; drain fat. Stir in hot dogs, beans, ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, taco seasoning, and cheese cubes. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Spread beef mixture into baked pie shell. Cut American cheese slices into strips, and make a lattice on top of pie.
  4. Bake for 5 to 10 minute, or until cheese is slightly melted.

Very tasty and quick to make. I omitted the brown sugar. I put a crust on top. And don't forget to saute onions and garlic with the beef!

I followed the recipe to the letter and this one completely bombed. I think the problem here is there are too many flavors trying to compete. It wasn't bad looking when done but it kind of taste...

This recipe was quick and easy. The boys (4 teenagers) all liked it, but said it was a little too sweet. Next time I'll cut back or omit the brown sugar. Otherwise a nice change from the usual h...
