  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the venison chunks, and cook until nicely browned on the outside and almost cooked through.
  2. Prepare the beef flavored rice mix according to package directions. While the rice is cooking, add the venison, green pepper, red pepper and onion. Simmer until rice is done and peppers are tender.

This was very good! However, I baked the venison tips in the oven for 3 hours to get it just right tender. As you know, wild game is tough unless you take special care with it. A crockpot would ...

This was an excellent supper. Very easy to throw together. I substituted the beef rice mix for Zatarain's Dirty Rice mix which was on hand and has more flavor. Will make again and again.
