  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour one 9x13 baking pan.
  2. In large bowl, combine the sugar, flour, salt, baking soda and cinnamon. Make a well in the center and stir in the oil, eggs and pie filling. Stir until just combined. Spoon batter into the prepared pan.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 45 to 50 minutes or until cake tests done.

Follow the suggestion to serve it with ice cream or whipped cream. It is not tasty enough by itself.
