Busy Day Chicken

"Easiest recipe I've ever fixed! I received it when my oldest son was a baby --today he is 17 and it is still a hit! Just a few minutes of preparation, and all day cooking. Dinner will be hot and ready whenever you have a chance to eat. Meat falls from the bones, and sauce can be used as a gravy for rice or potatoes. Enjoy!"

Directions

  • Ready In

  1. Put chicken, legs up, into slow cooker. Pour sauce over and inside the chicken. Cover.
  2. Cook for 8 to 10 hours on low setting. It is not a good idea to check it, as steam escapes and it takes quite awhile to reheat.

I thought this was a good concept, but I changed the recipe a bit. I used six boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 2lbs) seasoned with garlic powder, pepper, and a little salt. I put a lit...

This is really a great idea. I read the reviews before I prepared it, noted that some said that it was dry, and decided to add some water to thin the barbacue sauce down and give the recipe les...

I was skeptical... BBQ in a crock-pot? Well, I used a combination of "Sweet and Tangy BBQ Sauce" and "Grant's Midnight Grill" sauces <both AllRecipes, put notes on both>. Took skin off and any...
