  1. Place strawberries in a bowl. Drizzle vinegar over strawberries, and sprinkle with sugar. Stir gently to combine. Cover, and let sit at room temperature for at least 1 hour but not more than 4 hours. Just before serving, grind pepper over berries.

Gotta admit, the only reason I tried this is because I didn't believe that strawberries with balsamic vinegar and pepper would taste right. Boy was I wrong! My guests and I loved this, especia...

I was a little hesitant about this recipe, but I had all of the ingredients on hand, so I gave it a try. It was SO good! I was scared about adding the pepper, but it gave it a nice little zing.
