Original recipe yields 20 tea sandwiches
Directions
- Spread a thin layer of salad dressing on one side of each slice of bread. Place two slices of Spam side by side on 5 of the slices of bread. They should cover the slices perfectly. Place two slices of cheese over each layer of Spam, so that they cover the whole slice of bread. Place slices of pineapple over the cheese, trimming square to fit the sandwiches. Top with remaining slices of bread with the salad dressing on the inside. Trim the crusts if desired, and cut each sandwich into 4 equal squares.

"I like the idea of pineapple with spam which I wouldn't have thought of myself, so I gave it 3 stars, but I didn't care for it. I made it again after I fried the spam on each side until lightly brown..." See moreed, and then grilled like a grilled cheese sandwich. Cut in half. All the kids I had over that day said it was the best, so I will make it again for them! Cooked slices of ham would taste better with pineapple though. I generally fry (drained well) pineapple with cubed ham, and then place on top of crescent for the adults. ;)"
