  1. In a small bowl, thoroughly mix together the brown sugar, chili seasoning mix, ranch dressing mix, garlic salt, onion salt, ground black pepper, and steak seasoning. The rub should be smooth and granular, with no large lumps. Store at room temperature in an airtight container until ready to use.
  2. To use, rub the seasoning mix liberally onto the steak or meat of your choice before cooking.

My husband and I loved this rub! The steak holds the flavor well. I agree, it was missing something, so we added a little mesquite seasoning, and cayenne pepper for a kick! Great!

I absolutely loved this! I made a few changes. Instead of the chili seasoning I used Fajita seasoning. I also did not have ranch. So I eliminated it altogether. My husband loved it anyways and told me to keep the recipe as I made it. We grilled our steak on the bbq and It gave it a nice carmalized coating! Delicious!!!

AMAZING! on our grilled London Broil!! I did coat the meat with a thin layer of veg. oil before the rub, and then let it marinate for several hours. Will be making this again soon! Like tomorrow possibly, lol.
