Chocolate Pecan Pie

Chocolate Pecan Pie

"This is made just like a traditional pecan pie, with the addition of chocolate chips. It is very fudgy. It is always the first dessert to go at our family's Thanksgiving! Originally submitted to"

This pie is easy to make and bakes up beautifully, but it's just too sweet for our palates. If you love chocolate, and have an awesome sweet tooth, don't pass this one up.

I am well know for my pecan pies. I tried this recipe for my father-in-law. It was just OK. I will not make it again. I was not impressed.

The ingredients made enough for TWO pies, so I was glad I had two pie shells - Tasted good, though

Sorry, I just don't like the mix in this recipe. No one that tried it, liked it. Just not our thing I guess.
