Original recipe yields 5 dozen

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In large bowl, combine all ingredients except white chocolate chips and nuts; beat until smooth. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  2. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased baking sheets.
  3. Bake 10 minutes or until tops are slightly crusted (do not overbake). Cool. Store tightly covered at room temperature.

I chilled the dough first or else the batter would have been too soft. I melted the chocolate squares in the microwave and then threw the butter right into the hot chocolate and it melted right up. Quick cookie to make if you're in a pinch and very tasty. But tastes very similar to the Cake Mix cookie recipes on this site."
