I have used this recipe for Italian Nachos and it is always a favorite as a appetizer before any Italian dinner or cocktail party. I am also submitting this for someone who was looking for a recipe on Italian chips on this site.

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Prepare a baking sheet with cooking spray.
  2. Arrange the wonton wrappers on the baking sheet in a single layer. Brush each wrapper with egg white; sprinkle with oregano and Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese. Cut each into two triangles using a pizza cutter.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven until the edges are brown, 6 to 7 minutes. Transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely. Store in an airtight container up to 2 days.

As written, the recipe is ok. Make sure to keep an eye on your first batch and time it; mine were burnt at 4 minutes. Also, there is a fine line between too doughy and burnt. Once I got the timing down, I added about 1/8tsp garlic powder and substitued the oregano with italian seasoning.

Yum Yum!! Cooking time is a bit off about 4 mins or so and you should be good to go. We loved these with our dinner!!

These are great I added some garlic and onion salt.
