Original recipe yields 3 dozen
Directions
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
- Combine milk and chocolate in double boiler over low heat. Stir frequently until chocolate has melted. Remove from heat and pour into mixing bowl. Stir in coconut, pecans, vanilla and salt. Mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets.
- Bake for about 15 minutes, or until firm.

"this recipe tasted really good (but it kind of tasted like sweetened condensed milk more than anything). it also stuck to the pan pretty bad after it was baked (i had to chisel them off of the pan), ..." See moremaybe it would be better to bake on oiled parchment paper rather than the pan spray. i probably wont make it again, but everyone who ate it said that they loved it. this recipe should probably be called "sweetened condensed milk cookies" or something."
