“No bake peanut butter and cereal cookies” - by Mardie Ussery
Original recipe yields 100 cookies
- Blend syrup, sugar, vanilla and salt in a 2 quart microwave-safe dish. Cook on high 4 minutes, or until mixture boils and sugar dissolves.
- Stir in peanut butter, then add the cereal.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper. Let cool before storing.

"I have fond memories of these cookies from the bakery in the Indiana University Student Union back in the late 70's and couldn't believe that possibly it was the same cookie! It is! Once the sugar and syrup boiled for about one minute, I added vanilla and pb and it turned out perfectly."
