Basil Goat Cheese Pizza

Basil Goat Cheese Pizza

"This is among my husband's favorite dinners! The flavors compliment each other so well and it is so easy! I use frozen bread dough to speed the process. Set out dough before you leave for work and you are ready to go by the time you get home!"

  1. Allow dough to rise in a covered bowl until doubled in bulk.
  2. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  3. Roll the dough on a floured surface into a 15-inch circle. Roll the edges towards the center to form a crust, leaving a 12-inch circle. Brush the entire crust generously with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt, pepper, 1 sprig of chopped basil, and rosemary. Bake in preheated oven until the crust begins to turn golden, 8 to 10 minutes.
  4. Spread the crust with tomato sauce. Sprinkle with 2 sprigs of chopped basil and goat cheese. Bake in preheated oven until the crust is brown, and the pizza has heated through, about 8 more minutes.

Loved this pizza! I used easy pizza sauce III from here, and lots of feta cheese. I didn't have fresh basil, so I used dried. I didn't have any rosemary other than Italian seasoning blend, so I ...

Great! I used a ton of basil (just generously covered the pizza with whole leaves), and added a little mozzerella with the goat cheese. This is easier than I expected (I'm not into dough much), ...

Tasty. I used a refrigerated pizza crust and spaghetti sauce instead of the Italian tomato sauce.

This was excellent way to eat pizza without it being too heavy. I used my own dough and a jarred red sauce with basil. Also added a small amount of fresh mozzarella. It was perfect!

Oh my gosh!!!! This was awesome! I followed the recipes measurements and added spinach and mushrooms on top. Used Trader Joe's wheat crust. This was the best ever!

Delicious! This one's real easy to make and quick. I used a boboli pre-made crust and it turned out great. Add italian seasoning and garlic to the crust for a little italian kick.

Great pizza. We loved it but made our own crust from scratch. We will add more garlic next time but loved a new twist on an old favorite.

Hubby says a 3, I say a, I'll split it down the middle. Used the Exquisite Pizza Sauce recipe from this site. Yum!! Added a lot more basil and extra fresh rosemary. This was a good p...
