“This is great for turkey leftovers. Simple, quick and flavorful. This is a good one for substitutions too. I've used white wine in place of lemon, sour cream in place of yogurt, chicken in place of turkey and Indian naan in place of the pita. Enjoy!”

Original recipe yields 3 servings

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Stir in onion and lemon juice. Cook until onion is tender. Mix in turkey, season with curry powder and continue cooking until heated through.
  2. Remove from heat. Stir in apple. Stuff pitas with the mixture. Drizzle with yogurt to serve.

Very tasty! My hubby and I loved these flavourful pita wraps... I served them with some spiced up sweet potato wedges which I found went really well with this recipe. I used Red Delicious apples for this recipe, I find their flavor mingles best with curry- mmmm so good!

Loved this recipe. I added sliced grapes and celery to add more flavor and nutrients. I would definitely make this again.
