Baked Oatmeal II

In this video, you’ll see how to create oatmeal that everyone—even non-oatmeal lovers—will enjoy. Baking the oatmeal with milk and eggs gives it a little more heft and texture. And while this recipe calls for dried cranberries, you can add whatever you have on hand: dried or fresh blueberries, dried cherries, or other dried fruit. Get the recipe for BlanchL’s Baked Oatmeal II.

My three grandsons, 6, 8, and 9, hate oatmeal. I mean, they absolutely hate it! I grew up on the stuff and love it! A bowl of Quaker Oats, a fried egg, and wheat toast is my breakfast of choice. I made this recipe about 4 months ago. The only change I made was that, instead of dried fruit, I put chopped bananas on top after baking. I am happy to report that they love(d) it! My babies are now eating OATMEAL!! Thanx to Allrecipes for this idea! It really worked! Gregg W.
