Do we shell them? They don't look like the pumpkin seeds you buy already roasted! I mean are we suppose to eat the shells????

Hey! We found a cool way to clean seeds. Use your fingers to remove pulpy stuff than put them into a salad spinner with a bit of water. Than spin away. Remove the basket of the spinner with seeds change your water and spin again. It worked really well, and its a fun step!

Do not waist time "cleaning" or washing the inner parts of the pumpkin. All that stuff roasts together with the seeds using any of the recipes above and makes it taste even better by adding soft, crunchy texture, which is easier on the palate than the ruff texture of the pumpkin shell. I never throw away any of the soft inner part of any gourd - just roast it with butter or oil and salt and eat it.
