Me & my chef gf made pulled pork in our pot on a stove top. Cooked it for almost 8 hours on slow heat. But somehow, it seems dry. Not sure what happened. We are trying to cook for another hour or so to see what happens. We feel it could be the shoulder meat quality. Any suggestions are welcome.

Ok for one thing there is no one "right" way to do pulled pork everyone has there own preferences. Iv had it all different ways. With rub and without sauce, with sauce smothered and slaw on top, smoked, oven cooked,in a crock pot, and even grilled wrapped in foil. All ways are pretty darn good you must try them before judging them. Sure, I have my favorite. Iv noticed a lot of people on this site judge recipes before trying them the way they are written or change items in the recipe then give them a bad star rating..LOL..people if you are going rate recipes don't change half the ingredients and then rate it.

I'll be making a pulled pork for a group of about 80 people. Does anybody know how many pounds of pork I would need for pulled pork sandwiches?
