She did not remove the gills in the mushrooms. If not removed they will give a muddy taste to the preparation.

Instead of vinegar I use liquid smoke and they are fabulous! A little mozzarella doesn't hurt either!

I tried the Portobello Mushroom Burgers yesterday. The balsamic vinegar really over-powered the mushroom. Neither my husband nor I cared for it. We both love mushrooms, but were very disappointed.
