Aug 11, 2012 3:51 AMI agree with Lizzi's method. That is how I do it also. Except after soaking I wrap in aluminum foil . Perhaps that is a wasted step but they steam perfect everytime. Also I pull back the husks and remove the silk, then put the husks back in place and soak. I am pretty much a purist when it comes to corn on the cob. Butter only. Sometimes, not even butter. Fresh corn is great. It doesn't need half a dozen ingredients added.

Aug 5, 2012 9:16 PMOur favorite cooking method is done by first soaking the corn In the husks for at least 30 minutes in a tub of cold water and then placing directly on the grill still in husks. turn every 5 minutes or so for a total of about 15-20 minutes. don't worry if husks burn, the corn will be absolutely delicious and not burned. let cool several minutes before trying to remove husks. the BEST!

Jul 3, 2012 4:16 PMI have grilled corn many times, but with a delicious twist: I mix some BBQ sauce into the butter, then brush the corn with that mixture before grilling. Each kernel is infused with the flavour of the sauce, which is used to enhance the meat that is accompanying the corn. It is a win-win combination. If you don't like eating the corn on the cob, after grilling, use a fork or knife to fun down the cob and remove all the deliciously flavourful kernels, then just enjoy ;)
