This is an easy and satisfying one-pot chicken, sausage, and pasta dish. In this video, you’ll learn how to make an orzo pasta recipe that’s cooked on the stovetop in the style of a risotto rice dish! You’ll also learn an East Indian technique of sautéing the spice blend with the orzo that really wakes up flavors. I noticed the orzo had numbers on the box. Does that matter?

For a gluten-free dish I would replace orzo with quinoa or a mixture of the two and essentially make a risotto. This would be a useful addition to the gluten-free repertoire of chefs.
