My husband and I started making these more than 30 years ago when a college friend introduced us to them. We like thin crust so we get whole pocket bread and slice them length-wise. Also, we just use tomato sauce which has had Italian seasoning added to it. We also like to use turkey pepperoni which we top with veggies and then we add the cheese last. We put these right on the oven rack and bake at 350 degrees until the cheese melts which is only about 5 minutes. These are great for when you have guests. You just put out the toppings and everyone builds their own. We have also discovered that most people find that two of these is plenty!

I have been making these for years with a pita. It means that everyone can make their own, using the topping they like. I had a friend who didn't like sauce, she made the whole pizza using cheese first, then added her topping and then more cheese. I was glad to see it on the Allrecipe website.
