Filipino Chicken Adobo

In this video, you’ll learn how to make tangy Filipino-style, slow-simmered chicken adobo—the saucy, marinated chicken dish seasoned with lots and lots of garlic, annatto powder, vinegar, soy sauce, and bay leaves. The national dish of the Philippines, adobo is mild and tangy, not overly spicy. Let it simmer for a nice long time. And serve it with plenty of steamed rice. You can use regular vinegar instead of coconut vinegar, and Efron is right just use paprika instead of annatto. It is better if you use chicken wings instead of cut up chicken, you can also use a bit of cornstarch to thicken the sauce to your liking.
