Root Beer and Sesame Glazed Ribs

Plays: 5794

See how to make sweet-and-spicy glazed ribs in the oven. In the video, Chef John uses lamb ribs, but you can use pork, beef, baby back, spare, whatever ribs you like; the technique is the same and the results are guaranteed delicious. That’s because the marinade/sauce can’t be beat. It stars a sweet-spicy combination of ingredients: chili sauce, sesame oil, garlic, rice vinegar, and sweet root beer. You’ll want to marinade your ribs overnight. You’ll end up with a wonderfully glazed, fork-tender, gorgeous rack of ribs. Watch the video, then get Chef John’s recipe for Root Beer and Sesame Glazed Ribs. Finish your ribs with a sprinkle of sesame seeds! See more Chef John videos >>

These sound wonderful! I know the cooking method works well, in fact low and slow wrapped in foil is my favorite way to cook ribs. I am probably going to have to go with baby back ribs. I also think these would be good finished on the grill. YUM.
