I live in Indianapolis Indiana and can buy key lime juice year round, look in the mixed drink area where they sell BEER! Lime zest from a regular lime is fime as key limes are timy and hard to zest.

FYI to all who can't hear! Missy says to use lime juice or key lime. And furthermore you can buy bottled key lime or regular lime juice in areas where key limes aren't available, it is pretty good too. This recipe is very easy and works for any skill level.
