Black-Eyed Peas with Pork and Greens

This is delicious any day of the year, of course. But on New Year’s Day, as the tradition goes, if you eat this dish, you’ll have prosperity throughout the year. The greens represent cash; the black-eyed peas, coins. So what is there to lose? In this video, you’ll see how to make tasty black-eyed peas with greens and three kinds of pork (for three times the prosperity!). You’ll also learn the different kinds of greens and pork to use and discover the right time to salt your simmering beans. Serve over cooked rice. Ka-ching! This was a good recipe. I didn't use the thyme and bay leave instead I used Cajun Spice and Smoked Pork Neck bones. Dee-lish!!!
