Diana Kandybski-Kohler In your crock pot recipe, do you precook the meat before adding to the peppers or does it cook without turning the peppers to mush? I like the crock idea. Thanks

I make stuffed peppers quite a bit during the cooler months in my crock pot. I use meat loaf mix, chop an onion, add seasonings (dill or dried parsley, season salt, pepper, garlic, whatever I am in the mood for), bullion cubes to @ 2 cups of water. Sometimes I add mushrooms to the mix as well. I turn them on low when I leave for work and hubby turns off when he gets home (they cook @ 8 hrs). I can fit 6 in crock pot and they freeze well too !
