I have owned eating establishments for 14 years,so yes I can cook,I disagreed with so many traits of this recipe, but being single and having forgotten my original recipe I tried this to the letter(well almost)it is by far the best lasagna I have ever made,I think the fresh motzarella one of the keys, another is under cooking the noodles witch I always tried to do,I use to simmer the sauce for 1 hour, come on I am in the business so time is $,I did the sauce for 3 hours, need I say more, yummmmmmie,Mike Pitock,Burton,MI

hello r "May 13, 2014 3:31 pm help! English is not my first language. what was the chees name?" The cheeses used were: Ricotta in the soft filling, Mozzerella slices and Parmesan cheese to top. A little Parmesan is good in the Ricotta filling, too. I would hold off on the final cheese until the foil cover is removed. A mixture of shredded Mozzerella and Parmesan (and herbs) is another way to top the lasagna. This is just about how I make my lasagna except for wayyyyyy less salt.
