Baked Buffalo Wings

Plays:

In this video, you’ll see how to make crispy Buffalo wings that you bake in the oven. The prep time is quick and easy—just let the wings refrigerate for about an hour so the coating will set to the wings. Adjust the seasonings to suit your taste for heat! Because these Buffalo wings are baked, not deep-fried, they're are a somewhat healthier version of hot wings. So you can enjoy them any time! Get Leesah’s recipe for Baked Buffalo Wings. Serve these crispy, scrumptious wings with blue-cheese dressing and celery sticks. See more chicken wings videos >>

The idea of baking instead of frying is great for those who are health conscious or trying to lose weight. If you want to make this a more healthier version, reduce the amount of butter and use different pieces of the chicken since the wings are the LEAST healthiest.

These were delicious. But I can't help but laugh at the assertion that these are "somewhat healthier than fried" because they are baked (coated in a half cup of butter).

Didn't care for this recipe at all. I can't see how dredging the wings in flour and then coating them in butter can be any healthier than quick frying them in canola oil.
