Try beating the egg whites separately and folding in. Also, don't skimp on the butter. Waffles should be decadent.

These were easy and quick to make (while the waffle iron was heating up). The only change I would make is to increase the sugar a little. Not only would that give more flavor, but it would also help to crisp them.
